Share the right information with the right people
You can now choose more precisely what reviewers see in a share, including previous versions and metadata fields. You can also connect external AI tools through sign-in and use them for larger batches of work.
New features
- Choose whether reviewers can see previous versions. You can now control whether a share link allows access to an asset’s version history. This helps you decide when reviewers should focus on the current version and when they need to compare earlier work.
Improvements
- Choose the metadata a share exposes. You can now select the metadata fields you want to make visible on a share link. Your reviewers see the fields you have allowed, alongside the basic file information needed to view the media.
- Connect MCP tools through sign-in. You can now authorize a compatible MCP client using your Aspect sign-in instead of manually setting up every connection with an API key. The Agent and MCP settings page gives you the connection details for supported clients.
- Ask AI tools to work on batches of items. You can now ask the assistant or a connected MCP client to create or update multiple items in one operation. Batch support covers more folders, assets, collections, metadata, shares, and comments, making larger organizational tasks easier to express.
- Add links to your comments. You can now insert a link in the rich-text editor and keep supporting material alongside your feedback. This makes it easier to point reviewers to a brief, reference, or related page without leaving a bare URL in the conversation.
- Copy details from metadata fields. You can now select and copy values from metadata fields more easily. You can take the file information you need into another tool without retyping it.
Bug fixes
- More reliable watermarked review. You can now review watermarked media more reliably from shared links. Download and mount restrictions are also applied more consistently, so the available actions match the permissions you chose for the share.
- Filter by the correct creator. You can now filter and sort by the person who created an item more reliably. The corrected user identifiers help your results match the creator you selected.
- Keep shared sessions working together. You can now use shared content across concurrent sessions more reliably. The fix reduces conflicts where one shared session interfered with another session’s access.
